Musical theatre summer camps
The whole academy grew out of one summer camp for 35 students in 2006. Two decades later it's still where a lot of our performers start.

Summer 2027
SABA summer camp is the heart of SABA! Our June camp is built for students ages 8 to 18 and July for students ages 6 to 18. Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, and the third week ends with public performances at Murphey Performance Hall.

Summer camp 2027 opens for registration to previous campers on March 1st, 2027, and to the general public on March 2nd, 2027.
Camps are led by our own faculty, with Jessica Olson as music director, and end in a performance for family and friends.
Monday–Thursday, 2–7pm (closed Fridays)
What a camp week looks like
Sing, act, and dance every day
Campers take classes in music, music theory, dance, acting, and technical theatre, as well as master classes for older campers.
Build a show from nothing
Three weeks of rehearsal that end in a professional community production at the historic Murphey Performance Hall.
No experience needed
Summer camp is the perfect opportunity for new students to get involved in theatre, or for seasoned actors to continue to grow.
In the meantime
SABA runs year-round. Term-time classes in dance, theatre, voice, and piano are open now, and productions audition through the season.
