Jazz 1 students learn basic jazz technique, center work and basic patterns that are fun and challenging as well as traveling exercises geared to develop coordination and flow of movement.     High-level dance technique blended with advanced tumbling, balance, and flexibility. Requires strong core stability and mastery of the acro basics. Dancers execute complex tricks safely without heavy reliance on mats — front and side aerials, helicopter cartwheels, back handsprings and tucks, kip-ups, headsprings, B-twists, raiz, and 540s.
