F.A.Q's
1. How much is summer camp and what does
it include?
Tuition for summer camp is $350.
This includes 3-weeks of musical theatre instruction (educational supplies, facility fees, educational fees, performance fees),
Camp T-shirt, one lunch, and a new $50 costume fee this year (previous year's tuition was $300). Additional fees include after
camp care ($15-$30), snack shack ($5 a week), to-go lunch option ($10 a week), performance DVD ($20) which are due with
remaining tuition.
2. Why is there a new $50 costume
fee?
SABA is out many additional dollars after each show due to ripped or lost costumes.
The $50 fee not only covers costume purchases but costume repair as well.
3. When is tuition due?
$100 Deposit is due at the time of Registration ($50 is refundable if
a student withdraws from camp). Remaining tuition will be due no later than June 7th for first session and July
12th for second session. Tuition is not refundable after the second day of camp. If you are unable
to make the tuition deadline, you can speak with the director about setting up a payment play. There are also a limited number
of full and half scholarships. Please note that if your child is between the ages of 6-8 during the second session, you
will still pay full tuition because they will be receiving the same education as all the other students.
4. What are the times of summer camp?
Session
1 will be Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm for all students. There will be some students asked to stay between the hours of 4pm-5pm
for additional rehearsals. During summer session II, students ages 6-8 will be kept from 9am-1pm
and students ages 9-15 will be stay from 9am-4pm. until the last week of camp and all students will stay from 9am-4pm. The
afternoon hours will be spent with older student scenes
5. What if I have a full time job and can't pick up my child until after 5pm?
SABA understands
that parents work, and because our camp starts at 9am it is hard for some parents to get their children there as late as 9am
or pick them up as early as 4pm when they get off work at 5pm. We are offering additional drop off and pick up times for families
in that situation. Students can be dropped off at SABA as early as 7:30a and picked up as late as 5:30p. During that time,
students will be watching SABA approved movies. There will also be an additional $30 charge in order to cover staff costs
for those additional times ($15 if only one option is needed). If your child is between theages of 6-8 during the second session
and you will not be able to pick them up by 1pm, then they will be in after camp carewhile the other students are in rehearsals.
6. Will my children be able to perform?
YES!
That is what is so amazing about our summer camps. In 3-weeks we prepare kids for a full musical production that
is held the last weekend of camp. Each show will have a 4 performance run: Mulan (June 25-27) and Jungle Book (July
30th- August 1st)
