Angela Jones Hill, Founder and Director
Ms. Hill founded Camp
Broadway Kids in March of 2006 by providing a theatrical summer camp to 35 students. In just a few months, the summer camp
had created itself into a youth theatre school, and in August of 2007, CBK was renamed San Angelo Broadway Academy Youth Theatre.
In its history, she has had the pleasure of directing 60 plus students in musicals such as Annie Jr,
School House Rock, The Music Man Jr. ,High School Musical, Peter Pan, Narnia,
and Beauty and the Beast. Ms. Hill has been dancing for 29 years, training with top artists
all over the country such as Wayne Cilento, New York Broadway Choreographer for musicals such as Wicked
and Sweet Charity, Finis Jhung of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in NY, the Edge Performance
Center in Los Angeles, and most recently she workshoped and danced with the Broadway cast from A Chorus Line.
Having been an actress for over 20 years, Ms. Hill is a graduate of the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and
the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. She has worked on various voiceovers and films, including the
motion picture short, Texas America. She was recruited by casting agency’s in New
York and LA for films such as Legally Blonde 2, Manchurian Candidate, Man of the House, Grease, You’re the
One That I Want, and can currently be seen as a featured extra on the NBC drama series, Friday
Night Lights and regional commercials. Having taken a break from her biggest love, the stage, some of her most
memorable stage credits include Velma in Chicago, June in Smoke in the Mountain,
Nellie in South Pacific, Minnie in Hello Dolly to name a few. Ms.
Hill holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from Angelo State University where she continues to practice part
time as an Exercise Physiologist and is an adjunct Anatomy and Physiology and Dance Instructor at Howard College. She enjoys being able to continue to study around the country in dance, theatre, and
film so that she can share her passion with her students.

Mack Fox- Vocal Coach and Music Theory Instructor
Mr. Fox is a native of San Angelo, a graduate of Angelo State University holding a Bachelor’s
Degree in Music Education, has studied voice at the University of Dallas, has been a resident Chorus Member
with The Dallas Opera Chorus, a past member of AGMA (The American Guild of Musical Artists),
has studied and performed at The Brevard Music Center in Brevard, NC and is a graduate of
The Audition Studios in Chicago, IL. In addition to now being a part of our SABA faculty,
Mr. Fox is a Music Educator for San Angelo Independent Schools at Bonham Elementary School and a performer of many roles
with Angelo Civic Theater. His most recent theatrical roles were as Malcolm in The
Full Monty, Michael in Smokey Joe’s Café, the spastic yet mute sound man – Stan
in Chaps, Uncle Max in The Sound of Music and as “ol Blue Eyes” in My
Way – A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. His most recent collaborations with SABA were
as Assistant Director for Aladdin Jr. and acting coach for Audition Class 101.
His other professional collaborations include The Brevard Summer Music Festival in Brevard, NC, The
Dallas Opera Chorus, Lyric Opera of Dallas, Light Opera of Irving,
The Stephan Foster Story - My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown, KY and The
Dutch Apple Dinner Theater in Lancaster, PA. A 12 year resident of Chicago, IL, he has also appeared
in film, commercial and industrial productions.

James Crowder- Vocal Coach
James has been singing his whole life. In high school he formed The
Chanteys who sang 50's and 60's music. He was the feature bass soloist in Handle's Messiah.
James enjoyed drama with lead roles in The Mikado and Charlie's Aunt. James graduated from Abilene
Christian University with a degree in Music Education. When he moved to San Angelo, James formed the Ember's
Quartet who has been together for 27 years. They have had a Nashville Recording Contract; recorded in the Oak Ridge
Boys studio; and have produced 9 CDs. The Embers Quartet has opened for famous groups like The Cathedrals, Blackwood
Brothers, Florida Boys and the Speer Family. James had the special honor of being invited to an International
Chorus to sing in Germany and Austria for two weeks, which had been a dream of his for many years. James has been teaching
individuals to sing over 30 years and is now teaching private voice lessons at San Broadway Academy Youth Theatre
to individuals of all ages. In his "real" job, James sells Real Estate for Coldwell Banker and enjoys spending
time with his wife, three daughters, and two precious grandchildren who all share his passion for music.
