MONDAYS

4:15-5:15– So Ya Wanna Act– Intro to Acting (ages 8 and up)- If you ever wanted to explore acting or sharpen your skills, then this class if for you. Explore theatre with things such as building a strong character, improving, theatre terminology, theatre games, and a class showcase with a class play at the end of the term. Teacher: Joel Guerrero/ Tuition: $65 for 8 weeks.

4:30pm-6pm- Advanced Costuming–Previous costume class required: Create some of our Wonka costumes! This class is a challenging class for those that want to stretch their sewing and creativity skills. Class limited (ages 10 and  up). Teacher: Angela Shah / Tuition: $75 for 8 weeks (materials included in tuition).

5:15-6:15- Audition Class with Guest Artist Mac Fox- Nail your audition and help create amazing characters for the stage with this one of a kind class that looks at Shurtleffs audition techniques used by the pros. Previous acting class or workshop required (ages 10 and up) . Teacher: Mac Fox/ Tuition: $65 for 8 weeks

5:45-6:15-Vocal Prep Class- (ages 7-9) -This group class focuses on music theory, developing pitch, and a strong understanding of the mechanics of vocal training to prepare students for private voice lessons. Students will work as a group and perform in SABA’s voice recitals. Teacher: Mike Anderson/Tuition $60 a month or $15 a lesson

TUESDAYS

3:15-4:00– Kinderdrama– (ages 3-5)- Back by Popular Demand, kids enjoy 45 min of FUN with storytelling, music and loads of imagination! Most classes include a project with hands on work. Teacher: Angela Hill/Tuition: $55 for 8 weeks. A second section on Fridays from 3:15-4:00 will open up if this class fills

4:00-5:00– Speech and Diction–Every wonder what it’s like to talk without a Texas drawl or speak like the British? And just how do you say the word “orange”? Brought to you from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, Angela Hill teaches students the proper speech, breathing, and voice techniques that everyone needs whether you are giving a class presentation at school or delivering lines as an actor on stage. Come and tongue twist your way through class (8 and up). Teacher: Angela Hill/Tuition: $65 for 8 weeks

THURSDAYS

4:15-5:00- Treasure Chest Theatre– (Ages 6-7)- Discover a new and exciting story each week as we dig in our treasure chest and introduce basic acting techniques with loads of IMAGINATION! Teacher: Joel Guerrero/Tuition $55 for 8 weeks.

5:45-7:00– Playwriting–  (ages 10 & up) Advanced acting lab is a continuation from the Spring. Let your creative juices flow as you write, direct, and perform your own original work just like the pros. Prior Acting class required. We welcome students who were not in the actors lab last Spring. Class presentation of original work at the end of the session. Teachers: Mike Anderson and Angela Hill/Tuition: $75 for 10 weeks

FRIDAYS

4:15-5:15- Musical Theatre Dance- (ages 8 and up)- Come and dance your socks off in this energetic class that explores the different dance styles and elements of musical theatre. Teacher: Angela Hill/Tuition: $65 for 8 weeks
